Our relief effort has begun
Sudan is living through one of the largest displacement crises in the world today. Families have been forced from their homes repeatedly, markets have collapsed, and the systems people relied on — clinics, schools, water networks — have been stretched past breaking point.
What we are doing now
Our relief effort in Sudan is already under way. We are delivering hot food to displaced families, and distributing hygiene packs for women and girls — an urgent need in displacement settings, and one that is routinely overlooked.
This is emergency relief, and we are honest about that. It meets the need in front of us today.

Where we go next
Emergency relief is where we start, not where we stop. As in every country we work in, we are building our footprint deliberately: identifying local partners we can verify, listening to what communities themselves say they need most, and designing work that moves families towards independence rather than keeping them dependent on the next delivery.
We would rather tell you what we have actually done than what we intend to do. So this page will grow as the work does — and as it grows it will carry what our other country pages carry: named projects, real families, and an honest account of what your donation changed.
Your donation today funds hot meals and hygiene packs for families in Sudan. Keep an eye on this page — we will update it as our work develops.
