WHAT IS ZAKAT AND WHY IT MATTERS

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is a right owed to those in need and a means of purifying the wealth we are entrusted with.

Giving Zakat isn’t about generosity alone - it’s about responsibility. When calculated and distributed correctly, Zakat becomes a powerful force for justice, care, and long-term change.

Every act of Islamic giving is an opportunity to seek the pleasure of Allah, ease hardship, and invest in solutions that strengthen communities for generations.
